Hippopotamus Golden Sunset

Hippopotamus Golden Sunset – A Hippo's Golden Hour

A hippopotamus rests low in a lily-strewn lagoon while egrets line the shallows and palms lean into a sky of amber and violet. Ink linework traces every ripple and reed, and washes of gold, teal, and plum build a scene that feels both wild and quiet. The water glows where sunset hits it, and lotus blooms scatter across the surface like small lanterns.

This piece sits well among our Animals collection, and its warm palette pairs naturally with Landscapes and Earth Tone Art pieces too.

Sunset in the Swamp

A hippo sinks into golden water while egrets watch from the reeds. Lily pads drift, palms sway, and the whole marsh glows amber and violet. It's quiet, wild, and warm all at once.
